keep regular hours とは？

直訳は、「規則正しい時間を保つ」、つまり、「規則正しい生活をする」という意味になります。

この表現には類似型がいくつかあります。

＊keep early hours
（早寝早起きをする）

＊keep late hours
（夜更かしをする、遅く帰宅する）

健康の為には、keep early hours, keep regular hoursで生活したいですね。

今回は、hourを使った表現を２つ紹介します。

■out of hours（副詞的） 勤務時間外に
これは医療系で使われる表現のようです（Longmanの英英辞典には定義無し）。

（クリニックや病院のスタッフが揃っている時間帯の前と後（＝時間外））

（病院・クリニックなど：平日の時間外は午後6時30分から午前8時までです）

　＝＞ここでは、ハイフンを付けて形容詞的に使っています。

時間外のサービスを「Out-of-hours services」と言うようです。

■at all hours いつでも

文字通りすべての時間帯を指します。
