on the same wavelength とは？

wave は「波」、length は「長さ」。wavelengthとは、物理学用語で「波長」という意味ですが、on the same wavelength は、「同じ意見や感情を持つ（to have the same opinions and feelings ）」という意味があります。

日本語でも「波長が合う」という言葉がありますが、同じような意味になるでしょう。

・We’re not on the same wavelengths.
（私達は波長(考え方）が合わない）
