息を止めて」という表現は？

レントゲン撮影などで、息を止める動作を英語でどのように表現すればよいでしょうか。
「息」は、breath ですが、「止める」は、hold を使って、hold your breath と言います。holdは、「抑える、出さないようにする」という意味なので、hold your breath「息を止める」となります。
