「目からうろこが落ちる」を英語にすると？

まず、うろこ（鱗）ですが、scale と言います。

scaleには、「目盛、定規、規模、天秤、（星）てんびん座(the Scales)」などの意味がありますが、魚や爬虫類の「うろこ」も指します。

「目からうろこが落ちる」は、

と言います。
