first come, first served. (早い者勝ち）

英語を見ると、なるほど！ですね。

一緒に覚えたいのが、
on a first-come, first-served basis.　（先着順で）
という言い方です。

We will issue numbered tickets on the first-come-first-served basis.
(整理券を先着順にお配りします）

例）
